The Festival includes a Competition section at national level for Documentaries (not more than one-hour) based on the theme 'Women Frames' (women realities, politics etc) and Fiction (not more than one-hour). There is no specific theme for Fiction. The entry fee for both documentaries and fiction is Rs. 500/- per film. The winning entries shall be awarded Cash prize and a Citation.

Register your entries for Competition by downloading the entry form. Fill it, sign it and post it to us with your VCD/ VHS/DVD (Region 2 or All Region) with a synopsis in less than 65 words and a good still of the film along with a DD for Rs. 500/- drawn in favor of ‘Chetana Media Institute’ payable at Trichur.
